It's a few minutes after 10 a.m. and Drew Hester is apologizing profusely. "I'm sorry I didn't answer the door sooner, I was up most of the night doin.g mixes on [Coattail Riders' axeman] Ganin's new project " One of the nicest guys in the music business, Hester's positive attitude, musical keenness and strong work ethic have made him one of LA's most in-demand drummers.

It's no surprise to find Drew recently juggling gigs with Joe Walsh, Jewel and Common Sense, as well as rehearsing percussion with The Foo Fighters for their upcoming tour.

During his downtime (what little there is) he produces Taylor Hawkins and The Coattail Riders, manages to pencil in private drum instructing, somehow finds the time to support friend's gigs around town and still leads a generally common existence.
