I’m a DRumhEaD too!
Thank you for your magazine and the fresh new face on the shelf. I
picked up a copy at NAMM and must say that it’s the first time in a long
time that I read a magazine, any magazine, cover to cover in one sitting.
Then went back and did it again!
The interviews were all great, with information I had not read before. I
especially loved the tribute to Jeff Porcaro (I ordered the CD right away)
and the David Gilmour story from Simon Phillips had me howling. I also
found every one of the teachers’ columns most enjoyable, even if I can’t
play all the lessons just yet.
Anyway, keep up the great work and sign me up!

Tim
Mover!

The mag is killer. I read it cover to cover on the flight back from LA. Excellent job...very well written and a nice blend of content. I’m a fan!

I wish you all the best in this endeavor.

Hello Jonathan!

Richard from Germany would love to thank you for such a great new magazine! Your magazine looks fantastic, I just love the new information inside, especially the Face 2 Face with Simon Phillips… simply amazing!

Hopefully you will have all of the new stuff online very soon!

Richard

Thank you Thank you for finally putting out a drum magazine with an instructional CD from the USA. The only other one I know of is Rhythm out of the UK and I could not afford over $100 for a 12 month subscription, so this is great news. Picked up a copy at NAMM and I was very impressed. Look forward to the next issue. Lenny

Nice meeting you
at NAMM

Congrats on the new magazine. It looks amazing!

Very nicely and thoughtfully put together, I can see you put a ton of work into it. I am absolutely sure it will greatly inspire, and capture the attention of all our drumming brothers and sisters.

Sincerely,

Ron

Congratulations on a fantastic magazine! I learned more in one issue of DRumhEaD than I have from some of the other magazines I’ve been reading for years. Can’t wait for the next issue, I only hope it doesn’t take too long for you to go monthly. Cal

It’s about time! I was wondering how long it was going to take to finally see a drum magazine with an instructional CD. And better than that, great songs that I can practice to, equipment that I can hear and a Simon Phillips solo performance to boot. Need I say more! looking forward to the next issue. Roger

Hey DRumhEaD,

Great magazine front to back. Great information and great photos – Flats and Traps are definitely two of the best looking “kits” I’ve ever seen!

Stick around… No pun intended!

Phillip
Nice job

I just recently picked up your magazine. Nice job on the first one. I’m 52 years old & have played professionally most of my life. It’s so nice to see such a classy & well rounded publication.

I hope you do well & are around for a very long time. And by the way, Gadd, Vinnie, Steve Smith, & most of all Garibaldi, you’ll just never go.

James

Hello DRumhEaD, Excuse my bad English. From Italy I want to say that your magazine is fantastico! Francesco

Thank you Mr. Mover.

I thoroughly enjoyed your premier issue, very well balanced and intelligently written. I must say how pleased I was with all of the interviews, finding words of encouragement from both Mr. Erna and Mr. Larkin, as well as Ms. Blackman. I was especially excited to see the article on Mr. Fig, whom I feel that as acknowledged as he may be, is still one of the most underrated drummers out there. Even my wife read his interview, and now let’s me stay up late to watch Letterman once again! regarding the instruction, although I can’t play most of the lessons, I got so much out of listening to each one and at least attempting to give it my best, Mr. Ameen excluded (that’s a compliment).

Lastly, as a 64 year old drummer who played his way through college over 40 years ago, I can’t thank you enough for the article on Mr. Bushy. Not only was he a big inspiration to me, and the rest of the world, but I had the opportunity to see him play several times in the early days and reading his interview brought me all the way back to a wonderful time in my life.

Keep up the good work. Sorry, great work.

Andrew
